Merter founded Hilmi + Partners in 2007 and specialises in commercial real estate investment and development work. He qualified to practise in England & Wales in 1999. The Legal 500 has described him as ‘totally unstuffy and technically brilliant’ and ‘bright, very hardworking and streetwise’. He speaks Turkish (Cypriot).
